--Inside the MT--
At the heart of the SAFLOK MT is the custom circuit assembly (PCB). This application specific integrated circuit includes an Intel processor, real time clock, diagnostic circuitry, and software all embedded in silicone to protect it from moisture and ensure long lasting functionality.
-- Event Memory & Battery Life--
The non-volatile flash circuitry leads the field with a capacity of 5,900 event storage, as a standard feature. That is 6-10 times larger than anything else available in the market. Each event stores information such as time and date of the entry, as well as the ID code of the employee or guest using the keycard.
The MT Lock's battery pack is welded and shrink-wrapped to provide maximum power usage and consumption, and avoid any loss of contact through movment. If the battery begins to run low, it will alert the users of the lock in advance through our unique LED Diagnostics by displaying a red light when a keycard is inserted. A typical guest room door, has a battery life that lasts 3-4 years.
Another benefit of the MT lock is that it is easy to upgrade without changing or removing the hardware. Saflok allows you to upload and upgrade features without the need to modify hardware.
